Gil Walsh brings a unique vision to the Hamptons with a tribute to Betty Sherrill. What a fitting way to begin a chat on Interior Design in the Hamptons! The design team tapped Prince of Scots for a pop of colour which included lovely throws from Etro and Southampton Home Ermenegildo Zegna Cashmere Throws.

Melanie Roy’s blue-and-white mudroom is an ode to the East-end beaches. “It celebrates the summer and surfing in the Hamptons,” she says. The window-seat cushion—covered in a waterproof fabric from Duralee—can withstand spills and wet bathing suits. Scenic art, hand-painted surfboards, and a wool rug in a wave design accentuate the room’s oceanic theme. Under the console, wire baskets store Prince of Scots beach towels and flip-flops. A stone-shaped coffee table embellished with ocean decor anchors the room

Mecox Design Services
We visit with Southampton’s very own Sean Bruns & Judy Hadlock for Mecox Design Services. The Showhouse was built with the jet set in mind who know how to entertain guest in Great Gatsby Style. Sean and Judy’s vision makes a grand statement in modern luxury by taking a step back to a more elegant and sophisticated time with impressive romantic updates. The Wine Cellar is a stand alone showplace! Mecox Design Service partnered with Mecox Gardens showcasing the true Hamponite’s vision of Style and Luxury.
Judy and Sean tapped Prince of Scots for the lovely Carroll Shade from MYBTextiles and Bath Accessories from Kassatex to create a glamour bath which was a showhouse favorite!
